Get out of your car and into the reality of alternative transportation. Join us as we explore some of the many alternative transportation options around Maryland. We will examine exciting developments in many forms of local transportation and how these maximizing the use of these alternative transportation options can reduce pollution and land development impacts from automobile use in our area. 

Coffee and a continental breakfast will be provided. 

Learning objectives 

  • Discover the multiple alternative transportation options in the Baltimore area, and how these alternatives can aide in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, and other environmental and public health harms. 
  • Learn about green vehicles and electrical vehicle supply equipment. 
  • Explore novel alternative transportation options that will benefit the environment and the local economy. 
  • Have a greater understanding of the local bicycle network and how it reduces vehicle distance traveled and promotes personal health.
