Leaders in green, sustainable design and development are looking to push beyond current practice toward resilient, regenerative design and “living” built environments. This shift to create healthy buildings and communities that benefit our economy, enrich our cultures, and ensure healthy natural environments is growing as project teams learn to embrace the regenerative design process.

Join USGBC Florida's Tampa Branch's volunteers as they host Brian Dunbar, who will showcase regenerative projects from the USA and abroad, present resources including the LENSES framework, and emphasize reasons and pathways for a hopeful future.

Brian is Executive Director of the Institute for the Built Environment (IBE) and Professor Emeritus of design and construction at Colorado State University. He holds two degrees in architecture from the University of Michigan and is a LEED and WELL Accredited Professional. Professor Brian is also Board Chair of the Center for Living Environments and Regeneration, a nonprofit established by the University to promote regenerative design and the guiding framework, LENSES.
