DC's BEPS and Strategic Energy Management Planning for Facility Managers

Interested in learning more about DC's Building Energy Performance Standard and what you need to do to avoid fines (while saving money on utilities) and keep your building in compliance? Join CCIFMA and USGBC-NCR on February 11th, 2020 for an education session geared toward facility managers introducing DC's historic new building energy performance standard, strategic energy management planning processes that can help you prepare, and a local case study of successful implementation. The DC Department of Energy and Environment will introduce the District of Columbia’s upcoming Building Energy Performance Standard and talk about how the standard may affect your facility. ACEEE’s Strategic Energy Management Collaborative will dive into the process of strategic energy management planning and how it can be an integral part of your facility management toolbox and improve the efficiency and health of your buildings. Lastly, a local facility manager will discuss how they’ve implemented strategic energy management planning across their portfolio, and how they are preparing for DC’s new energy performance standard.
