Incorporating "urban" wood into a design project can help set your client apart from the crowd by telling a unique story with ecological significance. At this event, learn more about what urban wood is, where to get it, how it can tell a powerful story for your client, and how to successfully spec it into your next indoor or outdoor design project. Watch firsthand how a tree goes from log to lumber with an on-site sawmill demonstration by the Kansas Forest Service.

Join us at this event brought to you the Green Business Network, and its partners: The Kansas Forest Service, The Center for Architecture and Design, and Central Plains USGBC.

There will be a morning session specifically for designers, architects, landscape architects, contractors and furniture makers.

The afternoon session is targeted toward local governments, sawyers, lumber distributors, conservation specialists and tree service companies.

1.5 AIA HSW credits. ISA CEU credits pending.
