After work, join the Emerging Professionals committee for a bike ride and affordable housing green building tour. The group will bike 6-7 miles depending on where you choose to end. Only 20 tickets are available for this bike ride. All cyclists are responsible for providing their own bikes, helmets, and any additional safety gear. Attendees will be asked to sign a waiver before heading out on the bike ride.

Attendees can earn 1 GBCI CE Hour by participating in this event.

About the projects

DHA Mariposa | Speaker: Mark Howard, Senior Development Manager at DHA

Park Avenue Redevelopment | Speaker: Ryan Tobin, Director of Real Estate Development at DHA

  • Located in Five Points, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver, this project is a mixed income rental site for over 800 units. Connecting to the light rail, bike lanes, and to downtown was extremely important in the planning and execution of this project. The redevelopment block of Park Avenue achieved LEED ND Gold certification as a pilot project in 2009 . While doubling the site density, DHA is planning on keeping traditional Denver architecture throughout the redevelopment.
