Join the Central Plains Emerging Professionals (EPs) for a tour of Black and Veatch’s Microgrid and a sneak peek at Solarhood – a mobile application they are developing that helps you go solar and save.

Solarhood is a new initiative spun out from a corporate innovation program, and they would love for you to come by to learn more. The microgrid is an innovative grid resource that they have built at the campus in Overland Park – it powers their new Innovation Pavilion!

Come check them both out, learn the latest in alternative energy technology, and how to install solar at your home and in your neighborhood!

Upon arrival, go to the front/main entrance and tell the security guard you are here for the USGBC event.

The tour will be followed by pizza.
