Register today for the second installment of the Greening Your Home Speaker series, taking place April 13 in Marcellus.

The series features sustainability experts who'll give tips on how you can enhance your space, improve indoor air quality and conserve energy — all on a small budget. Each week, you'll leave with a short checklist of items to green your home without breaking the bank.

In this seminar, James D'loisio of Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt will explore heating and cooling in homes.

Cost-effective envelope improvements — insulating and air sealing the walls, attic or roof, and basement or crawlspace walls or floors — can greatly reduce energy usage and make your home more comfortable. It can also help reduce your share of climate disruptive greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere.

Come learn about the possibilities and pitfalls of an energy code-compliant home weatherization. For any questions, please contact USGBC New York Upstate.
