The session will focus on healthy building concepts, strategies and examples for workplace, educational, residential and healthcare environments, addressing the key elements of building design, renovation and maintenance as relates to human health, welfare and performance. Application of complementary and supplementary criteria in the LEED Green Building Rating System and the WELL Building Standard will be covered as relevant to considerations and health impacts associated with daylight quality, electric light quality, acoustical quality, thermal and ventilation comfort, indoor air quality, biophilic design and active design.
