Join us on a sustainable focused tour of the 640,000-square-foot VCU Health Children’s Hospital of Richmond Pavilion.

The award-winning project is the “largest, most advanced outpatient facility dedicated to children in the region and serves as a gateway to the VCU Medical Campus in downtown Richmond," according to the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia (ACEC). Many design aspects are used to merge the indoor and exterior feelings for patients.

“With its prominently located roof terrace and themes of sky, water and forest, the design brings nature to the heart of this urban campus,” says HKS Inc.

The project is the 2017 Pinnacle Award winner by ACEC Virginia and is LEED Silver.
