Learn the advantages and challenges of using the LEED v4 for New Construction rating system on commercial projects in Central Florida.

Presenters will provide an overview of the changes in LEED v4 as well as advise on how to overcome hurdles they have encountered on LEED v4 projects. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of our experts. Bagels and coffee will be provided for those who attend in person.

Presenters

Amy Pastor, PE, CxA, LEED AP - Amy is the Director of Commissioning and Sustainability at EXP. A licensed Mechanical Engineer, Amy has a diverse background in design, commissioning, energy studies, energy modeling, measurement & verification, sustainability, and project management. She has personal worked on over 100 LEED Certified buildings and is the Secretary for USGBC of Central Florida's Regional Board.

Kathy Lawson, LEED AP BD+C, CDT, NGBS - Kathy is Director of Sustainability at DCS Design, an architecture firm specializing in masterplanning, architecture, interiors, and sustainability. Kathy has devised sustainability strategy and consulted on over 18 million square feet of green buildings including more than 35 LEED Certified projects. She has also served as President of USGBC's Central Florida Regional Board since 2015.
