In 2016, Nebraska adopted Legislative Bill 1012 better known as the Property Assessed Clean Energy Act (PACE). Under LB1012, municipalities can create clean energy assessment districts and provide loans, through outside financing, to residential and to commercial property owners for energy efficiency upgrades. This past session, the legislators passed legislation that expanded the definition of qualifying property to include agricultural property.

Join us to learn about this expansion of PACE, how property owners take advantage of this program, and how you can work with PACE. Senator Burke Harr will present defining aspects of the bills passed in recent years and present an overview of green opportunities within the state legislature. There will be time for Q&A during the presentation.

Continuing education credits and lunch will be provided.
