Attendees will be led through every aspect of their life to understand how the acoustic environment plays a role - from sleep to work to health to entertainment and vacation. References to LEED and WELL will be discussed throughout, as Arup's Robby Deem and Geoffrey Sparks will go in depth on the key acoustical performance criteria for LEED v4 BD+C and the acoustic comfort features of WELL Building Standard v1. Attendees will also gain insight into how the Sustainable Sites Initiative and the Living Building Challenge address acoustics. Multiple case studies including Arup’s new Boston office will be presented, and discussion will focus on how to achieve and document the credits, categories, and features in LEED v4 BD+C and WELL Building Standard v1, as well as how performance is tracked and verified.

Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
