Topic: TRUE Zero Waste
Speaker: Eric Gray, Waste Management

As you may know, the United States Zero Waste Business Council (USZWBC) recently announced the Zero Waste Business Associate (ZWBA) professional training program is transitioning into the Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) Advisor program, which will be managed under Green Business Certification Institute (GBCI). TRUE focuses on zero waste business principles, advancing zero waste values and policies. A TRUE Advisor’s role is to support and implement zero waste programs, prepare organizations for certification and lead facilities through the TRUE certification process.

Learning objectives:

  1.  Provide a basic overview of the new TRUE Advisor Program
  2. List the requirements of the TRUE Zero Waste certification system
  3. Explain the benefits of TRUE certification for facilities
  4. Identify any synergies and differences between LEED and TRUE certification

Remote attendance is available for distance learners. Login information will be sent to remote attendees before the event.
