Parksmart is the only rating system designed to advance sustainable mobility through smarter parking structure design and operation. Parksmart is a voluntary, consensus-driven standard that guides projects toward innovative, solutions-oriented strategies that benefit everyone from building owners and property managers, to tenants and drivers. Parksmart encourages thoughtful siting and design, best-in-class facility management practices, and innovative technologies.
The high-performance structures, technologies and practices of Parksmart certified garages reduce energy consumption, maximize performance, and minimize waste, and encourage biking, car sharing, carpooling and alternative fuel vehicles.
