Please join the Energy and Environment Cabinet, USGBC and GBCI on for a free, all-day workshop focused on how Kentucky can leverage PEER to facilitate the construction of 21st century energy infrastructure that improves our security and resiliency, and creates economic opportunities.

The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet (EEC) is addressing energy resilience and security through a partnership with a new program called PEER, or Performance Excellence in Energy Renewal. Modeled after the LEED rating system for green buildings and run by GBCI and USGBC, PEER is a new tool to measure and improve power system performance in cities, commercial and industrial complexes, and developed campuses such as military installations. Kentucky is the first state to formally partner with this program and as part of this partnership is creating exclusive opportunities for Kentucky energy leaders.

The workshop will include a discussion of how PEER integrates into the state’s energy landscape and interactive case studies.
