How does a college sustainability program help to improve their community beyond the campus? Join us for a discussion with members from the Spelman College Sustainability team and take a tour of their LEED Gold Laura Spelman Rockefeller Hall, home to the Social Justice Fellows program.

Learn how student leaders are working with community partners such as M. Agnes Jones Elementary, Truly Living Well, and the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance to address local issues such as food security and watershed management. We’ll hear from Spelman students, faculty, and alumnae about how these partnerships were created, the impact they are making, and how they walk the talk on campus. Refreshments will be served following the program and tour.
