In today's ever changing world, there are individuals and organizations who are leading the way toward a brighter and more sustainable future. They understand that a sustainable approach can result in improved bottom lines, resilient communities and healthy ecological systems. 

The 2018 USGBC Wisconsin Leadership Awards recognize innovative green buildings and teams that engage the regional community. Winners will be recognized at the Transformation Awards Reception, taking place June 21 at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center.

The Transformation Awards Reception honors the individuals, groups and organizations championing sustainable practices and driving market transformation within Wisconsin's built environment.

Now accepting 2018 USGBC Wisconsin Leadership Award Applications! 

Applications are now open for the 2018 USGBC Wisconsin Leadership Awards. The awards recognize innovative, high-performance green buildings that engages the regional community. Winners will be recognized at the Transformation Awards Reception on June 21, 2018 in Milwaukee. 

Nomination forms are due by April 26, 2018 at midnight. 

This year's categories include: 

Innovative Design, New Construction: This award is for a LEED BD+C (Building Design and Construction) certified project that demonstrates use of new technologies and strategies to push the envelope of green design, and meet project challenges in an innovative way. 

Innovative Project, Residential: For a residential or LEED Homes project that demonstrates use of new technologies and strategies to push the envelope of green design and operations, meeting project challenges in innovative ways 

Innovative Project, Existing Building Performance: For a LEED O+M (Operations + Maintenance) certified project that demonstrates a significant increase in building performance through the implementation of sustainable design solutions. 

Most Successful Community Engagement: For a project team who has demonstrated creative and innovative strategies for connecting either with their internal or external community through a building project. 

Qualified applications will be reviewed by a panel of USGBC Market Leadership Advisory Board members and green building experts from the West North Central USGBC region. Award finalists will be notified in early June and recognized during the Transformation Awards Reception.
