In this one-hour webinar, learn water conserving strategies that help cut building water use and reduce potable water consumption.

Water is a finite, natural resource and is at the center of economic and social development. It's vital to maintain health, grow food, manage the environment and create jobs, according to The World Bank. Population and economic growth are pushing the limits of this resource — in some cases, water scarcity is already constraining economic growth.

Our seminar will address water consumed by fixtures, fittings, appliances, equipment and processes, including cooling towers. Register today to learn how to perform water use calculations and apply these strategies to achieve points in LEED.

What we'll cover:

  • The physical limits on water availability for human use
  • Calculations in baseline and design cases for indoor water use
  • Strategies in reducing total use and potable use of water
  • Cooling tower use and how to calculate the optimal number of cycles

Continuing education hours: This course is good for 1 LEED specific CE credit (BD+C).
