I thought this wasn't a bad basic course but I personally don't enjoy such short segments or modules.

This is a great resource for those involved with green building certification who would like to know more about lighting design, and its relationship with occupants well-being and comfort.

The course explains the core concepts of lighting design from a green building certification standpoint. One thing I appreciate is that it goes beyond the thresholds and requirements specific to each certification program, to actually explain the characteristics of high-quality interior lighting and how these are addressed by the certifications.

The definitions are detailed but still easy to understand, and a sheet of key terminology including these is available for download.

The presentation is smooth, friendly and full of great references and graphic examples. Some knowledge checks throughout the presentation will keep your attention up. The quiz is comprehensive and really captures the key elements of the course.

Overall this is a highly recommendable course to take.

The course is composed by different modules that are independent from each other and each of them is a single download. The speaker speaks clear and understandable. The slides are very useful and the supports of the course are well done and in-depth.
The course material is very good and meets all the learning goals. The subject is accurate and relevant. Even more the base level of the course gives deepen and important notion about the three most important sustainable certification on the market, so the course has multiple values and importance.
I will suggest the course to everyone who would start to know about light in LBC, LEED and WELL.
In conclusion this course provide a very good format, easy to understand with deep information.
The quiz questions are relevant and in line with the course.

This is a well organized, high quality overview course that meets the stated learning objectives. Though Basic, the course does provide a thorough review of important terminology in architectural interior lighting design. It does not, however, provide much guidance in how to do effective and efficient interior lighting design, nor does it address exterior lighting design or how the different rating systems assess and certify exterior lighting performance. I appreciate that the video modules are short enough to be downloaded and viewed episodically, even when not connected to the internet. The quiz is also above average, with a limited number of True/False questions.
