Although the video was shaky and narrow orientation, the content was quite interesting. The tour of the home showed the key elements and left me wanting to see and hear more. It is truly a project that is ahead of its time. Thanks for making a video to share this special place.

Good content BUT awkward video format for desktop viewing, hard to hear at times, shaky camera...

Richard. Facebook does not make it easy. We did not know we just had to tip our phone landscape to solve the whole issue. I can promise you every video we are making now is landscape but this one is out of our control.

Several questions reference LEED 2008, shouldn't that be LEED 2009? There was very little "LEED" discussion in the seminar that was for Living Building Challenge yet the quiz expects one to make the comparisons.

Executive Director , GreenHome Institute

Many items discussed did reference LEED requirements without specifically stating them. This is pending LEED Platinum

Hi Susan, thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any confusion. LEED for Homes v2008 is the earlier version of the LEED for Homes rating system, prior to v4. However, v2009 is the prior version of other rating systems. We have passed your feedback onto the education provider.

Difficult to hear and therefore difficult to assess and undersd the important points being presented. .

Make sure you turn your volume up or have newer speakers! It was challenging during the live session when people were not talking at the camera.

Poor video quality with narrow view and shaking screen often

Facebook does not make it easy. We did not know we just had to tip our phone landscape to solve the whole issue. I can promise you every video we are making now is landscape but this one is out of our control. Also, we now use a tripod so no more shaking. Thanks for the helpful feedback.

Different type of educational offering then a more traditional webinar. Virtual tour of a Living Building Challenge Residential project which leverages all types of technology to bring the team together. It can be difficult to follow at times but the material presented is fantastic. Its always great to hear the many lessons learned that come out of such projects. Would recommend for anyone pursuing Net-Zero energy and deep green practices in their home projects.

This course is a "live" tour of a home recorded on a phone. It was recorded as a walk-about with several of the consultants and contractors providing detailed descriptions of the systems implemented, tied to LEED for Homes criteria and LBC criteria. It was easy to watch/listen to while taking notes. Some of the visuals (overall picture of the property and rooms) are a little difficult to see from the perspective of the phone. It is very interesting dialogue about the process and ideas of the home owners and team. I would recommend this course because it is a great example of how it takes a team to produce a great product and integrated design with iterative analysis are keys to the successful outcomes.

This is a good piece of interactive information on Living Building Challenge as well as LEED. We've always heard about the term net zero energy, but never really had a chance of knowing indepth what it means. This course lets you see what a net zero energy building is like in reality through a virtual tour. It is a useful video for anyone whose considering of designing a energy efficient project as energy specialist, environmentalist, architects and designer giving useful tips and information throughout the video.
