While this presentation might be well intentioned, it down-plays the trauma associated with the U.S. prison system too much. Despite citing mental health impacts, and high incarceration rates, it makes no mention of the inherent racism of the system (until the last minute of Part 2), consistent human rights abuses, or inhumane conditions that dominate U.S. prisons. Finally, the levity of both the presentation title, and the delivery, combined with the insinuation that biophilic design can "fix" prisons trivializes the depth of the problems underlying the U.S. prison system.
