Inquiry

For Canadian mid-rise projects, is it possible to use the Model National Energy Code for Buildings (MNECB) as the baseline in the energy calculation, as per the LEED Canada BD&C 2009 EAp2 Option 1, Path 1? This is an approved alternative to modeling against ASHRAE 90.1 baseline in Canada for LEED NC projects - and would likely be the path the project would take if it were pursuing certification under the Canadian NC rating system.
