Inquiry

A local recycling company provides the best method of diverting recyclable materials from the waste stream for our particular building location. The local hauler will be providing waste management services to the site. The space allocation is minimal and because the hauler commingled and source separate the recyclables off site our client doesn\'t have a recycling program in place. The building user mixes all the waste such as paper, metal, plastic, cardboard on the same container and the local hauler collects the waste and sorted offsite. The local hauler accepts commingled recyclables therefore our storage and collection areas don\'t have separate collection bins for each material such as paper, corrugated cardboard, glass, plastics and metals. Can we meet the intent of this prerequisite without having a recycling program for the user in place?
