Inquiry

In areas where the law requires an average illumination of 50 footcandles or more (such as the State of Virginia), it is not feasible for project teams to design and implement a lighting scheme that will achieve an average of exactly 50 footcandles in order to satisfy both the law and the LEED standard (which requires an average of 35-50 footcandles). Is it possible to allow a greater tolerance for project teams working under these conditions?
