Inquiry

RE: Project Boundary and Parking (relating to SSc4.4)\nThe CIR Ruling for Administrative Inquiries, dated 3/30/2005, states that "It is permissible to set the LEED project boundary to exclude portions of the site as is reasonable in complicated scenarios [such as distinctly managed LEED and Non-LEED projects which share the same site]..."\nParking adjacent to the LEED project is strictly dedicated to vehicles that are not commuting vehicles. No commuting vehicles can park on this site.\nIs it acceptable to exclude parking that is adjacent to the LEED site if this parking is not being used by FTE\'s occupying the LEED building?\nThe parking spaces in question will be used by transient service vehicles or visitors that work off-site or in other buildings. We are planning to achieve our transportation LEED credits through a satellite parking plan (CIR Ruling for SS Cr. 4.4, dated 7/06/2005).
