Inquiry

Table 5.1 for intermittent local ventilation exhaust airflow rates includes the following requirement: 100 CFM, with the note "vented range hood required if fan flow rate is less than 5 kitchen ACH." How should we interpret this - how are ACH calculated for intermittent systems? Does this mean that a project could have intermittent ventilation in the kitchen that is not a range hood?
