Inquiry

We are trying to clarify the requirements for a direct line of sight to vision glazing for IEQ Credit 8.2 (Daylight and Views). The office building we are working on will use all modular workstations, keeping the window walls free on all sides. The typical windows in the building are 6\' tall, with a head height of 8\'-8". The partitions heights for the workstations have been set as follows: panels perpendicular to the window wall are 65" high; panels parallel to the window wall will be either 52"or 44" high, depending upon the storage needs. In some cases, usually at corners of the floor, the 65" high panels are planned for all sides of a workstation. Sitting in a cubicle, you\'ll typically have a view to the window wall, depending on your proximity to the partitions. Standing, or moving throughout the floor, will also allow excellent views to the outside. We\'re assuming this qualifies for the LEED credit.
