Capture additional energy savings by implementing good passive solar design techniques. Requirements: Show that building orientation and massing follows good passive solar design principles. Show that the building as designed reduces energy consumption by at least 10% compared to a square building of the same height and square footage on the same site. Submittals: Narrative describing passive solar design features. Calculations showing energy savings.
