[Multi-family interpretation issue] For 8.1 and 8.2, go beyond BOCA requirements. BOCA requires the following: 1206.2 Minimum glazing area: Every room or space intended for human occupancy shall have an exterior glazing area of not less than 8 percent of the floor area . . . (Battery Park City rating system suggests 30% more than this). For 8.1, we suggest 12% of the floor area OR daylighting calculations to verify a 2% daylight factor.
