Inquiry

Do all Division 15 materials not count toward recycled content credits? We understand not wanting to award credit for a large mechanical system to the detriment of reducing energy consumption and system complexity through integrated design concepts, but systems such as sprinklers are not related to energy or other design aspects. They are required by code. Can credit be given for recycled content in piping, hangers, supports for the sprinkler system even if in Division 15? If yes, please specify components of the sprinkler system which can be counted and those that cannot.
