Inquiry

Energy Use Reduction and High Renewable Energy Use The building was designed with the goal of becoming a "net energy exporter"--producing more energy than it consumes. Its design and operation, then, relies on the precise balancing of energy demands against available energy supply from photovoltaics. This results in significantly lower energy usage (85% less than comparable conventional buildings) and significantly higher renewable energy use (55%--and rising--comes from solar power). We would like to submit this as two separate innovation credits (going above and beyond the credit requirements in EA1.5 and EA 2.3), following similar documentation requirements. Would these be considered separate, and viable, innovation credits?
