Inquiry

It is our intent to capture the "Sustainable Sites: Alternative Transportation, Credit 4.3" for alternative-fuel refueling stations. Our method to capture this credit is to provide fifteen (15) electric charging stations for our 1,000 stall parking structure. Each charging station will be located between two designated electrical vehicle parking spaces, providing a total of 30 electric vehicle charging stations (3% of the total). The charging stations we are providing charge only one vehicle at a time and will charge a vehicle in four (4) hours. This means that two (2) electric vehicles can be charged by each charging station in a typical work day (8 hours). Note that all thirty (30) of the electrical vehicle charging stations will be clearly marked to eliminate any problems that may occur by having a gasoline car parking in the designated electrical charging stalls. As an incentive for electrical vehicle owners, we have selected the most convenient stalls in the parking garage to serve as dedicated electric vehicle recharging stalls. Please verify that this design meets the intend of the credit.
