Inquiry

Leasing Property on a Previous Brownfield Site PNC is working on several branch banks that will be LEED rated. One of the branches will be located on leased property that previously was an EPA Brownfield. The developer purchased the property after remediation was performed. The cost of this remediation is included in the land lease rate. For projects where land is leased rather than owned, the selection of the site is the primary way in which the environmental impact of site development can be addressed by the project. Selecting a renewed site supports the developer\'s investment in rehabilitating the site and encourages more Brownfield sites to be renewed. Can leasing property on a previous Brownfield site qualify for an ID credit?
