Inquiry

We are requesting an interpretation for the requirement of direct line of sight to vision glazing from 90% of all regularly occupied spaces for EQ Credit 8.2 (Daylight and Views). The Life Sciences Center has two full height Atriums which are 160\' long (North-South), 60\' wide (East-West) and 73\' high (see attached sketch). The atrium roofs are fully glazed with clear glass and give views to the sky. South walls of the atrium are glazed curtain wall. Classrooms and laboratories are on the west and east side of the atriums. Our question is; can we include regularly occupied areas with a view to the atriums into the 90% of regularly occupied rooms with views required for EQ Credit 8.2
