Inquiry

We are trying to achieve LEED EQ Credit 4.4 Low-Emitting materials for composite wood products. We are specifying and installing composite wood and agrifiber products without urea formaldehyde in every application in the building except one: Class1 fire-retardant building assemblies? Do Class 1 fire-retardant building assemblies have to meet the requirements of this credit, given that we know of only one fire-rated composite wood product (without added-urea formaldehyde) that is available in the marketplace?
