We are working on a new laboratory building, with numerous fume hoods, which is going for LEED-NC v2.1 certification. The MEP has done a preliminary energy model. After that model, there have been a few changes to the building\'s HVAC systems and fume hoods. We need the MEP to run the final energy model as soon as possible as the project is under construction. We would like to know if our project can base our final energy model on the Labs21 Laboratory Modeling using ASHRAE 90.1 Version 1.0 DRAFT for Public Comment (10/8/04) from www.labs21century.gov/pdf/ashrae_draft2.pdf and use the table under Section 6.3.3.1. If we can not use the complete Labs 21 Modeling Guidelines, we would like to know if we can still use that table in those guidelines (6.3.3.1) as the basis for our final energy model.
