Hi, my name is Alexis Barry! I currently serve as an Associate for Florida with the U.S. Market Transformation and Development team at the USGBC. I am also a LEED AP: BD+C, WELL AP, and USGBC Faculty.
I am a graduate of the University of Florida, where I earned my Bachelors in Sustainability and the Built Environment. During my time at UF, I worked at the Office of Planning, Design, and Construction as a Sustainability Building Coordinator, where I helped with new and existing green buildings across campus. Also in my undergraduate years, I served as an intern for the USGBC's LEED for Cities and MTD teams from Summer 2022-Spring 2023.
As a native Floridian, I also enjoy spending time outside, reading, painting, and long walks (likely accompanied with an iced coffee and my dog, Jack).
