Alicia Ravetto FAIA LEED Fellow

NC architect Alicia Ravetto FAIA combines her skills as an architectural
design expert with her experience in planning energy efficiency,
conservation, and clean renewable energy features to design high-performance buildings.
Throughout her career, she has been particularly committed to designing
buildings that will reduce carbon emissions. Her practice is focused on LEED
consulting and design of new custom homes, additions and renovations.

Alicia Ravetto FAIA, is a registered architect in NC, LEED Fellow, LEED AP
BD+C, WELL AP and ASES Fellow.

ALICIA RAVETTO ARCHITECT, established in 1997, is a nationally and
internationally recognized green building consulting firm based in the
Triangle area of North Carolina.

The firm provides full architectural services with a focus on green building
design + consulting and is a small minority/woman owned business, NC HUB
firm, MWOB City of Raleigh and City of Durham

Alicia Ravetto Architect has consulted on over 25 LEED certified projects,
including many that achieved LEED Gold or Platinum certification in NC.

She consults and teaches green building initiatives in NC, the US and Latin

Alicia Ravetto grew up in Argentina where she received her professional
degree in Architecture . She lived in sunny and dry Mendoza for six years
doing research in passive solar design and daylighting which set the toner
for her professional career.

She came to the US in 1985 as a Fulbright scholar to pursue her Master of
Architecture at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

Alicia moved to NC in 1987 and lives in her high performance solar house that
she designed and built in 1996 with her husband Paul Konove.

She has received the NC Solar Hall of Fame award for expertise and
leadership in education and architectural design of solar buildings; SBIC
Best Practices in Sustainability award, the California Building Industry
Foundation Award and the Sustainable NC Business award Green Building and the
2011 Gail Lindsey Sustainability Award.
