Amber Haukedahl

Amber is an Environmental Specialist at Impact7G with over four years of experience in environmental consulting and over sixteen years of experience in wildlife biology. Projects that she has worked on include, but are not limited to, EPA Brownfield Projects, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Lead based pain inspections, wetland delineations, cultural surveys, sustainability projects, and conducting avian and plant surveys. Amber holds an M.S. degree in Conservation Biology with many years of extensive field experience on rare and endangered species. Amber has completed ASTM 1527-13 compliant site reconnaissance field visits, reviewed local, state, and federal environmental databases, acquired and reviewed historical information, performed warranty deed and lien searches, and completed interviews.
Amber has worked extensively on writing Phase 1 ESAs for Brownfields sites and telecommunication sites throughout the Midwest. Throughout her career, Amber has worked on behalf of multiple telecommunications clients, including Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and US Cellular. Amber has worked closely with city employees and landowners to successfully write informative and conclusive reports. Amber also assisted in the writing of a Brownfields grant for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Amber is responsible for assisting project managers with various other reports and field work.
Amber conducts natural resource surveys for telecommunications clients, including surveys that specifically target Bald Eagles and Ospreys. Amber monitors bird nests and bird behavior, logs data, and assists in the completion of natural resource reports. Amber also has experience conducting mist netting surveys for birds and bats.
