Amy Boyce

Amy Boyce is an Energy and Sustainability professional in the DC metro area.
She is a licensed mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the DC
market in the areas of building design and construction and sustainability
practices. Amy currently works at Green Generation Solutions, performing
energy audits and designing solutions for energy and cost savings for a
variety of commercial buildings. Prior to Green Gen, Amy served as the
Technical Specialist for all energy related credits in the LEED department at
the US Green Building Council, working on both maintenance of the current
rating system and the development of the new v4 rating system, with specific
expertise related to the areas of energy efficiency, commissioning, renewable
energy, and demand response.

Amy serves as the Sustainability Chair of the National Capital Chapter of
ASHRAE and is a member of the US Green Building Council National Capital
Region chapter. She earned her MBA from Georgetown University and holds a
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State

Prior to USGBC, Amy worked as a mechanical engineer at several large
Architectural and Engineering firms in the DC area, promoting sustainable
design from the project side. Her work includes multiple government and
private projects, ranging in size from less than 5000 to over 1.5 million
square feet.
