Anthony Hardman has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Colorado with the LEED AP BD+C credential. He currently serves on two ASHRAE Technical Committees (TC 7.6 - Building Energy Performance & TC 6.8 - Geothermal Heat Pump and Energy Recovery Applications), has presented at ASHRAE conferences and has several ASHRAE publications to his credit. Anthony joined The Green Engineer team as a Building Performance Analyst (BPA) in the fall of 2010 and has a comprehensive engineering background that includes energy simulation, teaching, HVAC design, commissioning, feasibility studies et. al. As a BPA, Anthony has had the opportunity to assess building energy performance on over 100 building projects using a variety of simulation tools including eQUEST, Trace700, Design Builder (Energy Plus) and others. These assessments have supported LEED certification projects, feasibility studies, greenhouse gas analyses and utility incentive programs. Direct simulation experience includes over 12,000,000 square feet of the built environment. Geographically, his experience extends across the US and beyond, including Asia, Europe and Central America. Project expertise includes offices, hi-rise residential, laboratories, universities, hospitals, casino’s and many more.
