Ariane is an interior designer and co-chair of the Sustainability Council at
HGA Architects and Engineers in Minneapolis. She leads HGA's resilient design
task force, an inter-disciplinary firm-wide group that conducts primary and
secondary research in order to deepen the firm's expertise in the field of
resilient design. Ariane attended a Climate Reality Project training in 2014
with Al Gore and other climate change experts, and has since presented on
climate change and mitigation and adaptation solutions throughout the
Midwest. As a designer, she works on corporate and cultural projects,
infusing sustainable design principles throughout her work. Ariane is
founding chair of the Minnesota Resiliency Collaborative, and represents HGA
in the AIA National Resilience Initiative (Upper Midwest Hub). She has served as a
member of USGBC's Chapter Steering Committee, Greenbuild Special Programs
Working Group, and Emerging Professionals National Committee, and currently
serves on the LEED Resilience Working Group.
