Carissa is the Implementation Manager, LEED Certification Residential with Green Business Certification, Inc. (GBCI) and has been with the organization since November 2014. Carissa reviews LEED Residential project submittals and provides technical support for the LEED Residential Rating Systems. She has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. She became a Certified Energy Manager in March 2012 and a Colorado Licensed Professional Engineer in October 2012.
Carissa has also distinguished herself as one of the USGBC Faculty members by being highly trained in both green building practice and instructional methods. She has taught several courses on LEED and LEED Residential, specifically, she has taught Green Rater Training over twenty times.
