Since 2004, I am the co-founder of 4 companies: The Neal Group, LLC; Neal Group Construction, LLC; Commons Based and 200 Block Commons. The first company is a multifamily real estate developer; the second specializes in the restoration of commercial historic buildings, the third is a sustainable real estate developer and the latter owns the first sustainable historic retrofit in Downtown Joplin, Missouri.

Prior to my entrepreneurial and family career, I worked as a legal consultant for different institutions of the Costa Rican government (National Assembly, Minister of Public Works and Transportation, National Concessions Council, Civil Aviation) where I developed a passion for public and private infrastructure as a pillar for sustained growth. At the international level, worked for the Organization of American States developing studies on human rights and strengthening democracy in Central America.

I strongly believe education is a powerful mean to combat poverty, I have taught public and constitutional law. Improving communications within different cultures is a core value for me; I have served as a Spanish translator for municipal courts, doctors, and public offices and taught Spanish at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO.

Public sector: human rights advocacy; public policies; legislative negotiations and public-private partnerships (P3) legislation, organizations, negotiations and contracts.
