Carrie is currently the Energy Manager for Henrico County, Virginia. The Energy Management program’s primary purpose is promoting energy efficiency in county facilities, to reduce both resource use and associated costs. These efforts include the general government, public schools, and public utilities. Carrie also supports green building design and construction practices for new construction and major renovation projects. Good energy management is critical to the economic and environmental well-being of the county’s residents and employees.

Prior to working for Henrico County, Carrie was a Senior Sustainability Coordinator for Moseley Architects. In her role at Moseley Architects she worked on over 45 schools, civic buildings, higher education buildings, and correctional facilities that achieved or pursued Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

Carrie volunteers for the Greater Virginia Chapter, currently serving as Chair of the Communications Committee, and was previously the Chair of the Board of Directors.
