Chandra Farley

Chandra Farley, LEED Green Associate, joined Southface in 2009 following eight years as an interior designer in the residential and light commercial building industry. At Southface, Chandra provides leadership for the Nonprofit Energy and Water Efficiency Initiative in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and Feeding America. This initiative is based on a successful pilot program to help BGCA affiliates in the Southeast save money by reducing annual utility expenses by 20 percent so that those funds could instead be used to support the BGCA mission. Ultimately, the Nonprofit Energy and Water Efficiency Initiative will develop a sustainable energy and water efficiency program for the national nonprofit and foundation community that demonstrates the value of investing in energy, water and resource efficiency. In addition, Chandra manages partner relationships for the Grants to Green Initiative that funds metro Atlanta nonprofits to develop best practices in sustainability and implement cost-effective energy-, water- and resource-efficient upgrades.
