Architect with ten (10) years postgraduate experience in:
Design development and documentation of projects in the Major Event planning (Arab Games – Doha 2011, Asian Games – Doha 2006, Olympic Games - Athens 2004), retail, hospitality and infrastructure fields.
Working knowledge of construction and operational requirements of both temporary and permanent sporting facilities.
Site architect in large-scale projects (Athens Subway Depot).
Experience cultivated includes collaboration with professional colleagues within a team environment to successfully deliver design documentation (architectural drawings, specifications, finishes schedules and presentation boards), for submission to clients, authorities and contractor teams.
Responsibilities included preparation and coordination of documentation packages, tender packages, attendance at design meetings, site inspection and liaison with material suppliers.
Driven by the passion in the art world, educational development includes master degree studies on the museum world. The combination of art and architecture and how the two can be combined to achieve the successful museum is of major interest. Engagement on a volunteering basis in the field include the participation in the spatial arrangement and the realization of 3 exhibition projects at the Museum of Art, Architecture and Urban Studies (Contemporary Space Athens), Athens, Greece. Artistic practice includes acrylic painting, Chinese and European calligraphy and photography.
