Cliff Black

Cliff has over 25 years of broad technical leadership within the construction products industry working in sales management, strategic marketing, architectural systems development, product management, solution-based consultative selling, and contractor relations. He comes to Firestone Building Products most recently from BASF Corporation where he served as Market Development Manager within the polyurethane solutions group of North America Construction Chemicals where he focused on high performance building envelope technology applications for spray polyurethane foam. Cliff has prior construction product experience within the gypsum industry with USG Corporation where he held positions in their building products and interior products groups.

Cliff holds a Bachelors of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Lawrence Technological University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Construction Specifications Institute, International Code Council, and the American Society of Testing and Materials International. Professional community involvement includes the Building Enclosure Council, Building Enclosure Technology and Environmental Council, and the National Institute of Building Sciences. Cliff sits on the Board of Directors of the Air Barrier Association of America and serves as the Board Chair of the Credibility and Quality Committee. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Advanced Wall Committee of the Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association.

In his time away from professional interest he serves as an ISAF Judge and Umpire with the International Sailing Federation officiating at national, continental, and world championship level regattas along with umpiring graded match racing events.
