A Boston native, David joined USGBC in May 2011. He has over 10 years experience in education at the elementary and middle school levels which he brings to his current work. David's current work focuses on the environmental attributes of building materials and products and working to increase the utility and consistency of environmental product declarations. He focuses on life cycle assessments of building products and whole buildings.

David received his BA in 2006 from Drew University then continued on to earn his graduate degree in 2012 from Johns Hopkins University with an MS in Environmental Science and Policy. He is an avid fisherman (fly, salt, and fresh water), kayaker, cyclist, hockey player, and rock climber.
