Diana Dina

Sustainability Consultant, CPHD, ILFI, RIBA


Diana is a Sustainability consultant, a qualified architect in UK and Romania, a Certified Passivhaus Designer and International Living Future Institute (ILFI) accredited person (Living Building Challenge certification). Since 2023 when she relocated to US from UK, Diana has been external sustainability consultant to David Chipperfield architects on their US and Canada-based projects. Between 2019 ands 2023 she was Sustainability manager to award-winning architecture company Haworth Tompkins based in London, UK, helping develop and lead their sustainability and regenerative design strategy, balancing project support, in-house staff training, external advocacy and research.
In 2011 Diana received a Distinction for her MSc in Environmental Design at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources, UCL, London, UK. Following this, Diana worked with bere: architects on a number of low energy and Passive House certified buildings and carried out several Building Performance Evaluation studies. Subsequently she worked as a Senior Project architect at Woldon architects on a number of design-led low energy new build and retrofits, including the Font House project (Leicestershire) which won a RIBA regional award, Conservation award, and also won her a RIBA regional Project Architect Award 2018.
Diana has given lectures at UCL, Leeds Beckett and Reading Universities, and presentations at several RIBA conferences. She has been invited to be part of judging panels for RIBA Awards 2019, Timisoara Architecture Biennial in Romania in 2020 and Belgrade Architecture Biennial in Serbia in 2022, and the Architects Journal Retrofit Awards 2022 and 2023.
